The Manitoba Government released initial COVID-19 vaccination plans. With continuous advocacy from the First Nations leadership, Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC), the Southern Chiefs? Organization (SCO), and the Manitoba First Nations Pandemic Response and Coordination Team (PRCT) to prioritize First Nations, the government committed to involving Indigenous health experts and leaders from PRCT in the provincial vaccination planning.
